Balto always was part of my life. The atmosphere, the music, animation - all of this inspires me to draw and create. :)
I always thought that in Balto 3 is not enough of Alaskan realism. So I drew beautiful Arctic night, and Kodi, with more fluffy fur on his neck and more strong, fluffy legs to keep him warm.

Very nice; I LOVE the background, but Kodi's ears look a little too long. Oh no, he's turned into a chihuahua! lol, just kidding, that's very cute and mystic at the same time.
This was inspired by episode in "Balto 3: Wings of change", when Jenna sang "You don't have to be a hero." Balto takes a walk with Kodi. Balto shows his son how grand and majestic Alaska is. This scene must remind us about our own walks with our parents, and how good it was, when we didn't need to be hurry and worry...
*** And now, my dear, listen to the long story of making this. I tried to draw Balto with Kodi in different poses, but it was all sucks. I spent six hours yesterday to make a good sketch... And came out for this. I don't like the way they are but... Oh well... Then I wanted to try a new coloring style. I was looking at the sporgy's ( [link]) tutorial and then... blah blah blah, long story. I spent another eight hours to complete the coloring of Balto and Kodi just because I tried a new style... The most interesting in the results of my long coloring work is, that characters remind me of Greykitty's works now... Well all I'd say... I'll never use this way to draw again! And by the way, I color all this just for leaving them by these red-and-grey spots somewhere on the background.... Oh, and finally, the background. I looked at the screenshot from BALTO 3 and I really tried to capture this beauty and amazing colors from the movie. Background takes another four hours, but at least I like it! Phew, I guess that's it.

oh gosh i love it so much!You have put really hard work into this picture and i give you gratitude.
This is the first artwork from cycle "Parenthood: Balto and Aleu". Took about 2 days to draw. Of course with a lots of breaks! :D It took so long mostly because of the clouds!! Grr. Anyway, here's Balto with his little daughter in the Valley of Dreams. Lol. I think it's nice and warm scene. :) I really hope you'd love it!!!

Okay, i'm not really good at drawing this character :). But yesterday I watch "Balto" again, and cannot keep myself from drawing some fanart. You can see Balto's little bit "crazy" eyes. Lol. :D Anyway, I hope you'd like it somehow!

Awww Balto looks really cute in this pic for some reason. ^_^ Personally, I think the eyes look fine. I CANNOT draw eyes. :P I think you should add highlights too, it lacks depth.
