A doodle from my sketchbook i decided to finish.. cuz i love them Balto-boys X3 damn goodygoodies.. actually.. this was to test some rag paper for markers.. and.. while it didnt bleed.. i think it would have been better with non-waterbased markers.. i was using Crayola (erk) and LePlumeII's.. not enough color variety for me to more accurately color-match Balto.. :< but.. i tried. Mmph!

The drawing is done very nicely, though Jenna (I'd assume that's meant to be Jenna) honestly doesn't look like Jenna(!?!). Am I missing something? Balto is a tad too brown, I think he should be a bit more grey. Otherwise it's a good concept.. Huskie is drawn nicely, overall a good pic :)

I honestly think Jenna would look REALLY ANNOYED with Balto instead of all dreamy and stupid like her expression in the pic. WHO IS THAT PURPLE DOG?! She's got some nerve.

The purple husky would be Huskie, the artist. And i don't believe that to be Jenna, but rather Kodi instead. A pretty good pic ^_^

Hehe, that's what I was thinking, but it just doesn't make half as much sense, especially with the title "temptation", for that to be Kodi. If it's Kodi, what's with the dreamy look on his face (and the missing "square blocky" thing on his muzzle)? confuzzedness

Oh, that's definitely Kodi... just take a look at the anatomy! (And if you look close, there is a very faint muzzle-line). It makes sense... she loves (is 'tempting') both of them, but I guess we're just disregarding the fact Balto and Kodi are related. About the art itself, very lovely coloring. :)

I saw this ages ago on one of Huskie's art archives...it was certainly the best Balto art I had ever seen, from the artist that inspired me most (and still does). Back then I would never have imagined that her art would one day be featured a website of mine...this pic is certainly a favourite of mine. Now I wonder where Huskie got the idea for her character design from??? ;)

I was recently informed that Balto III is soon going to be released! XD~~ Checked out this page: http://baltosource.timduru.org/index2.php?act=b3infos and found screenshots of.. Balto and Jenna's son, Kodi ;3 Thought he was a hot little beaver.. and drew this XD.. i really hope this movie isnt going to be lame ;.; *excitement* also.. i tried to go for a more simplified coloring style.. to sort of echo animation art.. it's interesting.. but.. needs work for further simplification x.o Mostly Prang and some Roseart pencils on cardstock.
