Ok, I recolored the pict of Star nearly sneezing in the ice cave. I wanted to test some things and see if I could pull it off entirely in JASC Paint Shop Pro 7. I also was testing the blended fur techniques and the shadowlab effect. It seemed to turn out quite well.
I did this, over the course of two days, completely using the graphics tablet and the PC. I used Adobe Elements 2 and Corel Painter IX for the pic. I hope everyone likes it, and I would appreciate all comments/suggestions/questions.
*UPDATE* Seems I made a grieveious error in that I forgot to color Star's two front paws. I also took Greykitty's advice on the snow background. I did a bit of a rush job on correcting the errors, hope it did not diminish the appearance of the pic too badly.

His face looks a little weird, and what's all that blue stuff around him?
Star must have gotten lost. This is another one I did in August, or I think it was Auguest. The color was interesting on this one as well. I need to find a way to better clean up my artwork. I always draw with a mechanical pencil (.5mm with 2H lead) and eraser pencil, then outline the finished ting with a pilot pen. Then I try my best to erase any stray marks with the eraser pencil, and fill in any gaps in the outline with the pen if neccessary (which it is often).

The first time I saw this pic, I thought Star had grown antlers! lol
Okay, I know this drawing is probably way off, but I have not drawn Steele in a while and decided to try to draw him again. I didn't have very many referance pictures to go on as most of my reference pictures are of Star. I need to capture some more from the DVD when time permits it. And I will probably color it someday. Not today, not tomorrow, probably not next tuesday; someday. All feedback welcomed and encouraged.

Very VERY rough sketch...but better than what I've tried to draw!
I think I may have watched We Were Soldiers one too many times. Yes; that is an M-16A1 with bayonet in 'fixed' position.
